| + | The pain and frustration that Louticia Jackson is feeling when she wrote this letter is very obvious. The fact that her slaves are acting out and she is only "doing the best we know, or as good as we can" is only adding to the pain of having her son gone. I too find it interesting that even though she is obviously frustrated with her slaves, she goes to such great lengths to take care of Willes when he is sick. --Grace C. | ||
