| + | In the second to last paragraph of this piece O’Connell writes about how the Taylorism system will wipe out trade and organizations particularly with the low wages. Mr. Taylor’s system showed the benefits (for the employer) of unskilled labor. It was cheaper and if the workers did not keep up with the gauges set by Taylorism they would be fired. And since they were unskilled it would not be that difficult to find another employee to fill his shoes. –Megan Mc. |
