| − | | + | The principals that are discussed in this article may have worked during this time due to the schedules that people would keep. (Work during the day when it was light, and went to sleep when it was dark) This is not the case now, due to the fact that both men and women have to work. They may work different shifts or they may need to have two jobs. People now do things when they can and take as much time as they need to do the task at home. There are still some jobs that require timing for everything; it’s just not talked about as it was during this time. It was new to people so change was not high on people’s priority list. I can’t lie; I myself have found I sometimes time myself doing certain tasks. If I didn’t do that then I would never sleep. -- Pam Petzold |
