In The Workplace as an Ecological System, McEvoy points out two important things that caught my attention. | + | McEvoy's take on the relationship between the people that work, and the technologies they operate interested me. He states that it is a "complex,dynamic, exological one that entails elements of sociology and ideology as well as the more direct impacts of technology on worker health". This made me wonder, is the relationship between the worker and his technology that complex? I feel that there has to be a simplified relationship between the two to maximize the potential of the worker. There is a reason why the worker has the job that he does, he can relate to the technology. -Jeff R. | ||
