I find it incredibly odd that there were travel books published about the battlefields of the war just one year after the war was finished. Did people really visit the battlefields this soon after the war? With all the talk in the Gaust reading about the trouble of burying bodies it makes me think people might have seen some fallen soldiers not yet buried. –Megan Mc.
