I enjoyed this movie a lot and I think it was one of the more accurate ones we have watched. I think it accurately showed how hard it was for Woodward and Bernstein to uncover the scandal. I mean, I doubt it just fell into their laps. They always seemed to be playing the "name game" and it was hard to keep all the names straight. Woodward and Bernstein were also portrayed accurately. Bernstein was the more experienced journalist. In the movie he told Woodward during their first interaction "I've been in this business since I was 16." He obviously had a few years on Woodward at the Post. --- Alex M. | I enjoyed this movie a lot and I think it was one of the more accurate ones we have watched. | + | I really enjoyed the fast pace of the film. While it was at times confusing, it held my close attention throughout. Woodward and Bernstein were constantly chasing leads and following the smallest clues which made journalism look like the most exciting job in the world. With how stressful the investigation was, it is easy to understand Bernstein's chainsmoking. As we discussed in class Bob Woodward has an amazing ability to get people to admit to things, even though they know he will publish it and I thought Robert Redford did a very persuasive job of portraying this ability. - Michael G. | ||
