Maybe it was just me, but I do not remember ever noticing loyalist vs patriot skirmishes in the movie. After reading "Rise of Partisan Warfare in the South," I was surprised at all the casualties that occurred in these "skirmishes." I wonder what percent of the total dead/wounded in the Revolution came from those small skirmishes in the back country South. Also, I wonder how important these "skirmishes" were in relation to the larger picture of the Revolution. Did they really matter in the end? -- Alex M.
