The very beginning (the people getting on the VA Company ship) did a great job giving a glorified view of the VA Company; the way many of the colonists probably saw it. The settlers original ideas compared to what they actually found was also very well done - one of them mentions that they don't have any food, although this is the only real reference to starvation in the film (I guess Disney tends to shy away from topics like starvation). I think Disney also got the colonists' view of the Native Americans right - Thomas's line, "If any Indian tries to stop me, I'll blast them." epitomizes how the English saw their situation. - Celia | ||
