| + | I really couldn't believe the way the indigenous people, women in particular were viewed and treated by the white people. I can't believe that groups of people actually went to where the laborers were working to watch and see a "real" "tradtional" Native American. So these white families or individuals went to look at them for fun and then scrutinized those same workers for what they bought with their money, what clothes they wore, and how they tried to act more "white?" I thought that was crazy. I think the white Americans should really have thought of something better to do with their time. -Amy Van Ness | ||
