| + | For the topic, I found this piece almost humorous. The writer seems to be putting forth a conspiracy theory that the man intentionally lured his very innocent victim into the state of needing to become a prostitute to pay for her bills. This article portrays a young country girl, innocent in the ways of the world, as a victim to the evils of both male immorality (sex) and the city. Exaggerated and a little over the top, I am sure it received plenty of attention, but also very pointedly displaying the evils of sex and prostitution.-- Elyse Lawrence | ||
