| + | I thought the differences between the middle-class cult of domesticity and the working-class cult of domesticity were interesting. In our previous readings we have read about the middle class imposing its values on other people, but this is an example of how the recipients of this middle class ideal adopted it to some extent, but also changed it to work for them. -- Rebecca | ||
