| + | ""Children"" I am still amazed at how important the role of children was in working class families. I understand that they needed to work in order to help provide support for the family but it never really occurred to me to what extent or how hard they had to work to help their families. They had to put in just as much effort and work as their parents. I guess part of me didn't want to believe that these children would be put in that situation. It is kind of depressing, but it really shows how close it could pull the family together. -- Kellye Sorber | ||
