| + | It seemed that he discussed the responsibility one holds towards his country as very similar to the relationship of a child to his parents. The government, or nation in this case, is the giving parent that, when in need of help from the child in times of sickness or dispair would expect the same to be given willingly. These are the duties that "we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly".
