"Glory... focus[ed] on a group of black soldiers that included a gung-ho intellectual, a surly rebel who learned to be a team player, an older father figure, and a stuttering former slave." To be fair, I will say that these stereotypes had to have their basis in something.. or perhaps that's all of the Hollywood movies I've seen that have convinced me that these characters could sometimes be real. --Amanda Russell | ||
