| + | I just want to discuss what Amanda said a little more about white support of the Civil Rights Movement. The way the Durr's immediately rushed to help Rosa Parks after her arrest was remarkable to me. Cliff didn't hesitate because he would be bailing a black woman out of jail, he hesitated because he didn't have the money. To me, that amount of interracial support is incredible, especially when it came to offering women rides during the boycott. Please tell me this is more popular than I get the feeling it was. --Kelly Wuyscik | ||
