The WKKK article was very interesting because I had no idea that there was a KKK for women alone. I knew that the ones who had husbands in the KKK supported them, but that they actually had their own group, wow.  Under the Constitution and Laws part of the article it says the "Order shall ever be military in character..." (136) How militaristic and ritualistic were they?  Did they often commit violent act againt those they oppesed like the usual burning of a cross or throwing bricks through peoples windows?--Michelle M.

The KKK in the Twenties was another outporing of "Nativist" sentiment in response to many Catholics and Jews spreading throughout the large cities.  This "Nativist" movement recycles itself every couple of generations, and it is repeating itself this very moment in Prince William County and across the country.  Even though the "Real Natives" of America have been relegated to small reservations, people will continually look upon immigrants trying to find a better life as "intruders" and "illegals" rather than children of God. - Phil Novalski.
