| + | I thought it was interesting to read about "Open-Air Meetings" by Florence Luscomb. The meetings reminded me more of a potluck type ordeal than a way of gaining votes and getting a serious point across. Also, when Florence talks about a successful "summer of campaigning" I thought to myself wow have times changed. I can't imagine Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or John McCain going out to any large open outdoors space for their campaign. | + | I found the the "Anti-Suffrage Monologue" by Marie Jenny Howe to be incredibly frustrating to read. The quote "If women vote, what will become of men? They will all slink off drunk and disorderly. We antis understand men" Really?? Did someone actually write that? "What makes a husband faithful and loving?
