The movie was quite well done and as others have noted before me did a good job of incorporating everyone who was involved in the Watergate story and scandal. While the movie was a focus on Woodward and Bernstein aka "Woodstein," the movie accurately showed how difficult it was for the men to gather important, revealing information. One of the scenes that stood out most to me, was the early help offered from the librarian and after she places them on hold quickly refuses the help. She further denies ever knowing Woodward or Bernstein and causes them to backtrack and not appear credible. | + | I thought it was interesting to find out that the filmmakers went to great lengths to replicate The Washington Post newsroom. In fact, the labels on the filing cabinet were meticulously done and eve more astounding, trash from the real Washington Post newsroom was flown in to Hollywood to put as clutter on the desks (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/watergate/stories/ringle.htm). -- Kelly R. | ||
