| + | I think one of the aspects that the movie did well in conveying was the "disconnectedness" of the war. First Benjamin is against the war, then for it, then against it, then for it again. Some are fighting for freedom, others for revenge. Some colonist are for the British while France is sending over help for the colonist. The movie really expressed the confusion of the whole war and definitely made it clear that it wasn't clear at all. It also did a good job with the attempts made by the British to break down the colonist which backfired on them. Overall, I think it did a good job getting the emotion of the war across. - Victoria Y. | ||
