| + | I agree with Michael, slavery is not portrayed in this movie. Mel Gibson's character is seen as a very nice and caring person to his slaves or servants. But this would not be the case. Also, I agree with Deborah's point stating that the girl would not have spoken like that in church. These different social relations between people with different class, age, gender, and race, are not portrayed correctly in this movie. -- Justine R. | ||
