| + | s EFritz was saying above, it really is hard for a woman to judge another about their struggle of work and home until they are in that position. Boggs was able to keep working, but mainly just because her husband was home more while continuing his education. Had he already finished school, she would have had to end her career earlier. It wasn't as if he was like "Hey Honey, you keep on keepin' on at that job of yours and make me some money!" He understood how much easier it would be at the time to have the arrangement of work and home that way... In response to J Rowley's question, I don't think Boggs was implying that it was not a man's place to raise a child. As a mother, you feel a certain bond or connection with your child and not only want to be there in those initial year, but you feel a NEED to be there for your child. - Christine L | ||
