Most of the time, people tend to combine all women into one category and forget that it is still important to focus on individual groups separately also. Historians may want to homogenize all women together when studying or writing about women but the reality is that they do have a separate history to that of white women. -Amy Van Ness | ||
I was particularly interested in Kate Haulman's idea that identifying factors such as gender and race are created and fluid rather than having a sort of naturally fixed meaning.
