I thought '''it was rather interesting that Grace Galloway "resented the intrusion of politics into her personal life."''' I feel like this may be the reason why it took women so long to start getting involved in "men's affairs" because many women, like Grace, did not care for it. They would rather just be housewives and be content with that. -Kristina.S.

I really enjoyed Grace Galloways entry she seemed so stubborn and defiant! I loved it. It was interesting to read her entry in comparison to that of Eliza Wilkinson. Both women although on opposing sides had very strong opinions and seemed to have no qualms with sharing them. I was impressed by the fact that Grace stayed behind when her husband and daughter left for England (even her reasons might have been selfish!) The fact that Grace was penalized for her views was interesting I wonder if they would have persecuted her even if she had been apolitical just because of her husbands tory status which she would have been automatically associated with.
