| + | I thought it was really neat that Abigail Adams was able to write to her husband with her terms. The fact that their relationship in that time period was on that level was interesting. Although John Adams shot her idea down, he gave it some thought. Not many men would even listen to their wives about political stuff such as this. Clearly, the Adams’ marriage was different from many of those in the Revolutionary time. I also enjoyed that the little section included the letter from Abigail to John and back, and then Abigail's letter to her friend Mercy.–Megan Mc. | ||
