| + | When I was reading this passage I kind of felt like she was justifying the things that had gone wrong in her life, and almost making exucses for God. It seemed as though she was trying to make sense of the times when she felt she got the short end of the stick, for example, when she coudln't conceive for several years, or when she had poor health. It's as if she were trying to talk herself into thinking that God had a purpose in it all, and that it wasn't just random bad luck.
