| | + | I chose to write on this topic because after I read Anita Hill's testimony, I asked myself how this would affect my vote if I had one. I'm torn, because it seems like it should be impossible to elect someone to the Supreme Court who is guilty of serial sexual harassment, but at the same time, it seems wrong to deny a candidacy based on entirely non-falsifiable testimony. My gut says Anita Hill was right, and that seems to be supported by outside sources (such as a Hill-basher who later admitted he was lying, labeling himself "part of the Republican propaganda machine" and a "Conservative hitman"), but in other situations, how do you make a decision like this? -- Matt Struth |
