I found Carlton C. Fredericks article amusing at the same time it was irritating. It was amusing to me because of the way he approached the subject yet irritating because of its sexism. He seemed to imply that only insane or mildly insane women would likely turn to Nymphomania. | + | I found this article very reminiscent of how many doctors treated women during this time and before. Women always seemed to be a completely different species than men and this article only goes to prove that stereotype of doctors at the turn of the century. Like most of the people posting, i agree with Jackie, i think she hit the nail on the head about the disturbing nature of this reading and clearly of this man. --Julie Robert | ||
