| + | After reading these sources and lecture in class, it seems to me as if men sat together, whispering about granting women the right to vote would just make the wrold blow up. It's like a time bomb to see who can push their issues further, the women with why they should be allowed to vote or the men as to why they shouldn't or choosing to ignore the issue as long as possible. -Emely Amaya | ||
I found the Inez Haynes Irwin article really interesting. I was surprised to see how quickly the President agreed to meet with a delegation of women after he heard they were going to strike. As alway I really enjoyed reading the "Modern American Women" articles. I like the wide variety of selections. It helps to bring the topic together as a whole. I always found studing history to be easier if there were first hand accounts to read because it makes it seem so much more believable.
