| + | It is interesting to get a perspective of a white child of a black woman. Much like Rose Williams, she doesn’t seem to complain about her situation, even she talks about her friend Diana who gets raped by the master. It is just the way life was, and why complain when their situation, like Rose’s, was so good they were considered free by slaves on other plantations. -- Emma C. | ||
