| − | I also agree with Matt about the iPad replacing textbooks, I honestly don't think that it could really happen. I personally hate reading off of the computer and absolutely prefer to have a book in front of me. But even looking at evolving technologies such as the chalkboard, the whiteboard, the smart/interactive board, they all have had an enormous impact on student learning. Also, if we think of the ferule (pointer), the laser pointer was evolved from that as well, both being used for the same purpose, yet models of the ferule can be seen still today.
