| + | One of the big historical inaccuracies was that in the movie, the year was 1882. The shooting at the OK Corral actually happened in October of 1881. Also, James Earp was not killed by the Clantons, but rather lived a long time after the events in the film. Doc Holliday was not in fact killed in the shooting. He died of tuberculosis about six years after the shooting--with his TB being the reason he came out west in the first place. And finally, the Tombstone in the movie was said to be in the Northern Arizona/Utah area but in actuality, was in Southern Arizona. -- Kelly | ||
