As for the issue of women in the camp, there was the scene around Christmastime where they showed one woman mingling with the men. Then there was a mention of someone making biscuits and gravy, however that was it. Like the others above I feel like women definitely played a larger role in the life at camp. And the digital watch? That's where it went! I spent years looking for that! Now I just have to go back and get it, sigh...  ;) -Jenn

One thing I noticed that the movie did not address was the inferior care that the black soldiers received during the war.  They received inferior guns as well as medical care even at the end of the war and in the movie there was no indication they had inferior guns and medical care. -afrisk
