I have never really connected the Vietnam War with the Civil Rights movement before. I know that many groups like the Black Panthers were against it, but they were only part of it. I would think that the Vietnam would take away momentum from the Civil Rights movement, as it was more than just a race issue. Is it possible to protest a war from just a view on how it is racist? It seems to me that would take away from both the Civil Rights and the anti-war cause. - J Rowley | I have never really connected the Vietnam War with the Civil Rights movement before.
