| + | I wonder if I am finding this thread to be a bit ridiculous because I am a male or if there is just a little hint of a bias in peoples' interpretations of this primary source. First, unless I am mistaken and if I am, then someone please correct me, but I had thought that masturbation by anyone, males or females, was considered a perversion of sorts during this time period.
