The particular line said, “And to my daughter Elizabeth att her day of Marriage or otherwise att Fifteene yeares of Age.” I know we talked about the early marriages of the times but this brought attention to it. It seemed Elizabeth’s father assumed she would be married by the age of 15. I have a random/rather dumb question at the bottom of some of the Wills it said “Proved, November, 1755.” or something like that, was that the date of death/date the will was read?
