At first I wanted her to be with the man, but then when she started saying how she did not want to dishonor her family and respected them too much to leave, I thought those were good points also. One minute she's on her way to tell him she is not going with him and the next thing you know he is picking her up and putting her in the carriage to take her away. Were men in reality really this suave and cunning to be able to change a women's mind so quickly? She seemed to be determined and knew what she wanted but she sure threw that out the window. It's cool to see how a situation like this can also be seen today in modern times, when men are able to work their charm to capture womens' hearts.
