| − | | + | It's crazy to think about society determining who is suited for having children and who is not. It does not seem like society's place but then reading about how much of a say communities tried to have, or in some cases did have, made it seem like it was rather normal in some societies in the nineteenth century. Procreation is a very private decision among the family itself and it's kind of shocking how public this sacred decision is becoming. With all of the technology and medical advancements we have today the decision to have children is a much more public decision. -Kelly W. |
