| + | I also have limited background with Native American studies, only touching on it in classes when it was necessary. I think not having the appropriate background information on Native Americans may hurt our understanding, but it certainly should not limit it. I was not as familiar with Chinese- American history or the Southwest, but that does not mean that our discussion should be limited by our lack of knowledge on the subject. - Mary Beth | ||
