| + | I liked this article because of the author's use of the phrase "women of color." It was nice to see it used to reference more than African American women for once. This article really emphasized the racial differences in terms of women and society and it was rather eye-opening in that sense. In a historical sense we typically think of the racial divide of this time period as black vs. white, and tend to disregard the other racial minorities. -Kelly W. | ||
