| + | The majority of this chapter talked about the arguments for and against birth control. It was interesting to read about all the different reasons why people were for or against it. Also, the main sources used to promote birth control were written by John Humphrey Noyes of the Oneidas. I'm not sure how representative that is of the 19th century views for birth control because the Oneidas did not have the biggest following and had very controversial ideas of "complex marriages". -- Kari W. | ||
