I don't really care for this. It wasn't very entertaining for me and it's not something I would ever watch again. I didn't have any problems with the film jumping around, but I kept trying to figure out when he'd actually gone away, and therefore how old he was and how long he'd been gone. | + | Tom Cruise pre-Vietnam/during the war > Tom Cruise in the hospital to the end. And, I know that's how the style was in the 1970s, but I couldn't handle it. Everything just seemed to be too over-the-top almost and very very dramatic. And I think abbreviating Kovic's life so much to fit it all in in 2 1/2 hours hurt the movie a great deal. As the others said, it was so fragmented and scattered that I had a hard time keeping up with how old Ron was supposed to be, etc. -Kelly Wuyscik | ||
