I watched this movie in my Intro to Film Studies class and we focused mainly on mise-en-scene and the setting, and how this movie is a great depiction of the environment of the Old West. Also, even though the Clanton family didn't "rustle" the cattle James Earp was protecting in reality, according to the reading, cattle rustling was common behavior (''Problems of the Old West'', 198). - David F. | ||
