| + | Elizabeth, Merideth and Landon all bring up excellent points. The article did put me off a bit. Date rape education (and repoting) should be encouraged. I don't think women "like" to report being raped. I just read testimony in the paper yesterday from a girl at Annapolis that was raped by a fellow cadet and you could feel her pain coming out. I think rape is likely still very much an underreported crime. Landon's point about alcohol likely being involved quite often in date rape situations (especially on campuses) is a good one. - Phil Novalski | ||
