I have to agree with Justin on some of the demands made by the Chicanas...24 hour child care. If you don't have time to raise your children because of school, work etc., then wait to have them. | + | As I was reading this piece, the section discussing that Chicanas suffer from a triple form of oppression--an oppressed nationality, as workers, and as women-- really stood out to me. In class we have talked about how African-American women are often the "worst off" because they suffer from both racism and sexism. Do you think that African-American women and Chicanas suffer from some of the same problems since they are both members of more than one oppressed group? --Katie Nelson | ||
