The two-page paper (with standard 1 inch margins, 12 point font and double spaced--length not including footnotes) must summarize the interviewee’s life and must include key quotes from your interview. Part of the assignment is to take the experiences of one woman’s life and think about how it fits into the larger flow of women’s experiences in the US in the 20th Century. [One way to do that is include references (and even discussion) of related readings in your footnotes.] All ideas, phrases, and quotes should be cited using footnotes done in consultation with the ''Chicago Manual of Style'' (15th edition) or Kate Turabian’s ''A Manual for Writers'' (7th Edition).
