Getting Started
The four modules present the basics of the internet and web, the process of designing your site, using Netscape Composer to build a site, and the process of testing, modifying and improving your site. At the end of each module, there are Web Skills Assignments that you will need to complete before the posted deadline.
If you need assistance with any part of these projects, please contact Dr. McClurken or Jerry Slezak. However, if you wait until the last minute to begin work, the amount of assistance we can provide is more limited. To create an effective web site, you need to spend time working on it. These projects are very difficult (if not impossible) to complete by pulling an "all nighter." If you keep to the deadlines and use the design process presented here, you will maximize the best use of your time in producing a good web site without allowing the process to become overwhelming.
