This site is one result of an assignment from History 328: U.S. Women’s History Since 1870, a course taught by Jeffrey McClurken at the University of Mary Washington. Students were asked to interview a woman over the age of fifty-five about her experiences as a woman in the twentieth century. With the permission of the interviewee, the interview was transcribed by the student, to be posted here.
